A comment from a fan e-mail

I, for some odd reason have been getting fan e-mails lately. This one fellow said Zappa once said:

I read an interview of Frank Zappa from a few years back where he said that people should make music to just share with each other. He said this is one of the greatest things about home recording. He said that people should avoid the concept of being a "star" and commented that being a star doesn't have much to do with talent.

If this is a correct quote, it's a very good statement for the younger talent out there. I think most of us "Old Guys" know this. Stick with your talent! If the star part happens then great! But don't let it stop you if it doesn't!
