Very creative use of the vocal processor!

Heya guys,

 

I came across this fabulous artist recently. His name is Mike Love. Though I absolutely love his music and his songwriting, I wanted to mention how good and creative he is with his pedal rig filled with all the right goodies.

 

In this song, for the bridge, he starts looping random syllables (or it seems to be), when all the layers are made to sit on top of each other, you've got the actual lyrics of the bridge in it. I dunno if I'm making much sense but you've got to watch it. Lemme know what you think

Pretty cool! That is a lot to think about while you are trying to pull it off. I see he has bare feet so he can use toes to make adjustments, lol.

Some pretty solid musicianship from these guys, too.

I was thinking about the very same thing. I was even thinking the kind of process he would have gone through to arrange the song as such. Pretty great song with a lot to learn from as well.
