Giving songs to bands

Hey guys, I was wondering: is there any way for me to share lyrics with a band by any chance? I feel like I'm writing stuff with potential, but it's going nowhere.

I'm not entirely sure what you are asking, but I think you are asking about collaboration with artists that write music.

 

If you literally mean giving your lyrics to existing bands as a submission, that's a little different.

 

Either way, there are many more lyricists than there are musicians, so it wont be easy.
