Amazed, I lay dazed

And my head did I rub

I stammered and clambered

Grabbing hold of the tub

And that! Fat cat!

It’s a kitty in the loo!

Who opened the door

And let the damned thing through?

I can't believe you came up with this idea out of the blue. It must have really happened, right?

Well Alistair, I would love to tell you a hilariously entertaining story about the inspiration behind this little snippit of doggerel, but actually it never really happened (of course, I'm tempted to spin one out anyway, but I'll spare you the colorful B.S.)

Well, that is to sayI have been scratched by a cat, and I have slipped in the tub, but one event never lead to the other like the 'poem' I wrote.

So, I guess it did come to me out of the blue. Anti-climactic really. Probably should have made something up.

So why did I write it? Well, I just get so bored sometimes that I sit and listen to muses, and you never know what what the hell they are likely to say...
