Songwriting Challenge! (8 bar melody hook challenge)

Figured I'd make a great first impression and launch a fun challenge!

 

So, for this challenge, you're task is to write a song, in which the chorus of the song must be the melody heard here: 

Oh, and I'm not making this easy. 

 

Your chord progression for the verses is as follows

 

I-iii-vi-V-ii-vii^o-V⁶-V⁷

 

For the pre-chorus, it must revolve around the ii and IV

 

For the bridge, the V of V must be played at least once. 

Then, you must perform a half-step modulation and perform the reprise of the song using the 8-bar melody transposed up a half a step.
