thank you for listening!  you matter, and weird mashups matter,  but death cab and the beach boys matter more.

This is a lo-fi emo crap mashup of two great songs: 'the new year' by death cab for cutie and 'i just wasn't made for these times' by the beach boys. go buy or stream /transatlanticism/ and /pet sounds/; they are both stellar albums.

 

And in case I screwed up the embed (I think I screwed up the embed) here's the link to my song on youtube.

I tried to fix the embedded link, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong.  I used the <> code button on the forum post, and copied the embed link from Youtube as plain text.  What should I do differently?

Just copy and paste in the YouTube link and it will embed.. i'm don't use the plain text to embed.
