Era of the singer-songwriters?

I've been seeing a pattern on social media.

All the musicians out there, big or small, have been largely limited to their homes due to the pandemic. And many of them have been spending time going live to their audiences. Norah Jones, Jacob Collier and Tori Kelly are just some of the names but even some front men for popular bands have been doing the same. Do you think this is having an impact/influence on people's music habits and consumption? Solo artists with an instrument or two displaying their skill to a phone camera without fancy gadgets, production value or dancers at the back is probably what can have some impact if nothing else with regard to the place of singer-songwriters in music, especially from the live performance aspect.
