Yebba's Tiny Desk session is absolutely massively beautiful. (& her album Dawn as well!)

Hey guys,

 

You may have seen me talk about or share some of Yebba's stuff on here but this live session that recently came out is just absolute gold!

I'd been waiting for it like many others for a while now; but it finally came out right in time for her debut album's release titled Dawn. (Dedicated to her mum who lost her life to suicide just before Yebba actually blew up in fame a few years ago!) 

 

Yebba is one of my favourite artists to have come out in recent times; her vocal ability, her musical influences, songwriting - all of it is at its absolute heights. And you can see she's chiselled her skills up with meticulous work & focus with lots of time & energy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, her album "Dawn" is absolutely incredible. With some of the best musicians in business having worked on it such as Pino Palladino & Quest Love, she's absolutely outdone herself in all regards. I wouldn't be surprised if this record turns out to be one of those monumental ones in the later years! Have you heard it yet? What's your favourite track?
