You know how YouTube presents you with random stuff, although it's often influenced by past views?

 

Today I was stunned to see THIS.

If I was less of a crusty old git, I would have cried while listening. 

 

 

Described here as Rene Abadesco, we know him as fellow active Member Rene Asologuitar.

 

What a BEAUTIFUL and well-played guitar arrangement and EXQUISITE vocal performance from the girl!  For me it has the same innocent but bittersweet impact as 'Rainbow Connection', or Eva Cassidy's 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow'.

 

I would rank this as one of the most perfect performances I've heard/seen from any duo.  The arrangement builds gently, something that many duos fail to consider. There is some clipping towards the end, but it would be churlish to mark this down considering it was captured 'live'.

I'd encourage all Members to recommend a great track/video/performance by other Members, along with the reasons WHY you have recommended it.

 

As usual, I was a bit confused as to WHERE to post this ... is it COVERS, PERFORMANCE or VIDEO?
