Music Tattoos?

One thing I’ve just done to amuse myself is to get my first-ever tattoo.   I've NEVER been into them before but I was often struck by the many tattoos I saw e.g. waiting in shop queues, whether scribbles, names, icons, great artwork, complete sleeves etc., and I wondered ...
IF I ever had a tattoo, what would it be? 

 

Well, here it is, my 2020 album.  Solo writing/performing, 30 tracks, home produced, my logo design.  All something of which I’m especially proud and should remain so until I die.  And if I shake my flab, it looks like real steam (no, it doesn’t, haha).   My immediate family was horrified ... especially after decades of me deriding tattoos!

 

But, in the end, it may spark a curious “hey, what is THAT tattoo about?” from people associated with the ambulance, mortuary and crematorium ... possibly three more listens!  And people say I’m hopeless at marketing!  Pffft! 😊

 

 

Has anyone else here on Songstuff sunk to my level of self-aggrandisement, or simply shown their love of music via body art?

My dad got his done while drunk on shore leave in Hong Kong and instructed me never to do so. I never did, though when it crossed my mind it was always manuscript of the opening two bars of Bruce Springsteen's Thunder Road.
