Ohio, Neil Young 1970

"Ohio" is a protest song and counterculture anthem written and composed by Neil Young in reaction to the Kent State shootings of May 4, 1970, and performed by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
It was released as a single, backed with Stephen Stills's "Find the Cost of Freedom”.
Young wrote the lyrics to "Ohio" after seeing the photos of the incident in Life Magazine.

To all our social justice fighters.
May you have the strength, the stamina, and the charity to understand and love others, even in the midst of chaos and evil!!!
Love, peace, and joy to all peoples!!!

Feedback is much appreciated.  Thank you.

Love this song! The mix is fairly good overall, maybe slightly too much reverb. My only stylistic critique is that your version sounds a bit too clean and proper for a song written as a raw pissed off protest song. You probably are already aware of this.  Some of the "Ohio" lines at the end are a bit off pitch - but as as live take that's understandable!

Keepin' the spirit alive my friend, a very good thing to pass this one on to generations that follow. The horror fades in the minds of the politicians but we're still strong, a development maybe even better than bunching ourselves together - go after them from all sides. Good job.
