RehearseAId - digital accompanist utilising AI

I am currently doing a module at university which involves coming up with a business plan for a new technology. My team has come up with an idea for a digital accompanist called “RehearseAId”. 

 

The main idea is as follows: RehearseAId has a built in Artificial Intelligence technology that creates real time improvisational accompaniment with musicians. Initially, allowing the user to play for a short period of time to understand key parameters such as rhythm, tempo and key, the AI system will be able to search through its extensive database to provide accompanying instruments requested by the user.

RehearseAId will be available via the app store for basic instruments while complex instruments will be available via the premium AI accompanist units.
