A modern-day Bruce Hornsby or Peter Cetera

Hello, first time posting here, so apologies if it's the wrong location. 

 

I was listening to Bruce Hornsby's The Way It Is and Glory of Love by Peter Cetera and wondering if there are any songwriters/musicians out there these days that are writing similar-sounding songs to those guys?  That very piano-heavy expansive and melodic, soft rock vibe. 

 

Absolutely love that style of music, but it seems it's a dying breed!

 

Does anyone have any suggestions, please?

Actually, it's very interesting to listen to the very different ways that these artists have re-approached their original works.  Please look them up.

There is only one Bruce Hornsby.  Listen to him . . . do it multiple times a day if need be.  Ignore all the rest. The rest pale in comparison.
