hi everyone,

I'm new to this and I've been reading everything and anything about it.
What are my obligations to publish a cover on Spotify?
I read that if the cover is identical to the original (melody and lyrics), I do not need authorization from the rights holders and that I do not need a mechanical license for streaming (Spotify & co). What is it really?
