Guitarist looking for other instruments to record some covers

Hi All,

 

Another newbie to the site! I'm hoping this is the right place to meet some like minded people...

 

I've been playing guitar since I was a teenager, and while I've dabbled in originals I've always just loved playing covers. The last 5 or 6 years I've been in a cover band, and we've recorded a few of them. I also do a lot of this myself at home, but sadly space and neighbors don't allow for deafening volumes or full size drum kits!

 

So that's why I'm here! - I'm looking to find a group of people who have the ability to record music at home (or where they can), share the files, and get some awesome songs recorded! They don't have to be exact replicas either, they could  be our own versions, that's the best bit about it!

 

Anyway, I'd love to hear from anyone interested, no matter the instrument! (Though I should say I generally lean towards alt rock / metal / grunge in particular - but maybe it's time to change that!)
