I have no use for a patch bay.

 

I should have added “virtual patch bay” as an option. My sound card provides a grid like virtual patch bay plus I use VB Audio VoiceMeeter Potato which also has a Patchbay for managing and connecting audio sources and outputs including virtual ports and network connections. I use a dedicated music PC and a separate streaming PC. I run Potato on both and route audio from one PC to the other across my network connection.

I use virtual patching for YouTube, but I don't need it for music creation. I use VB-Cable which is by the same people as Potato. I also use the software that came with my interface for loopback whenever I need that.
