Recommendations For Pad Controllers?

Pad Conrtollers vary hugely in cost from sub $100 (Akai MPC Mini, Novation Launchpad etc) to the Standalone $750+ NI Maschine+, Akai Professional MPC Live2, up to the hugely expensive Akai MPC X SE at about $1900! Ouch!

 

Yes I realise it’s a bit apples and oranges as the MPC X SE, like the Maschine+, is a standalone controller and production platform in-one.

 

I have the NI Kontakt Komplete Collectors edition and Komplete Kontrol S61 Mk2, so perhaps a Maschine Mk3 makes the most sense? Lately, I have been considering a Maschine Mk3 + Akai MPC, or swapping out the MPC for a PreSonus Atom.

 

Does anyone have experience with any of these controllers? How would you r rate the quality of the triggers? Do they wear well?
