Hey

I'm building a PC to use partly as a server, but mainly to act as a stand alone synth/sampler based on a P3 500, with a SB Live! soundcard and Win 98. Hopefully latency won't be too big an issue.

I'll probably use Vienna as a sample manager. So...

Does anyone have any tips?

Does anyone have any good soundfont banks? H?

Thats a good idea actually.. i never thought of that considering i have about 6 or 7 PCs all hanging about doing nothing...

I have experienced severe latency problems mind especially in the past running win98 with an SBlive. Mind you, a good boost of RAM does go a long way.

Let me know how this goes.
