s2800 woes...

I can see that this board is not used too much, but I'll give it a shot.

I just got a used S2800. I downloaded the manual and discovered that it is horribly written. For now, all I want to do is sample some drum sounds, and I'm having a hard time. The manual alludes to a different method for sampling drums, but there's no section about drums. I tried to create a separate keygroup for each sample, but that didn't work. Anyone have any ideas?

My understanding is that songstuff is growing quite rapidly at present. And a small community can have a more personal touch than some of the bigger forums.
