Controversy is often used in order to promote an artist and their product. Something I doubt most artists have ever used on their own.

So I thought it would be interesting, as an exercise, to look at what controversial news about your band, or just you, would you propose in order to help sell your music? Justify why you think your news would rise to the top among other news items and why you think it would ultimately benefit your career.

Although it is perhaps fun to do, I think artists rarely think about getting their music over to an audience in any serious way.
