International Songwriting Competition

This is a new annual songriting competition that gives away $60,000 total (to 27 winners) in cash and merchandise. The Grand Prize is $5,000 in cash and $20,000 in merchandise.

The judges are extremely high-profile and include:  

 • Monte Lipman (President, Universal Records),

 • Rob Thomas (Lead Singer/Songwriter of Matchbox 20)

 • Arif Mardin (VP/GM, Manhattan Records)

 • Andy Summers (Performer and ex-member of The Police)

 • Eddie Kramer (Producer/engineer, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin,

    The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, etc.)  

 • David Bendeth (SR VP of A&R, RCA Records)

 • Jeff Fenster (SR VP and Head of A&R, Island/Def Jam Records)
