I use Elixir strings on my acoustic, they sound fantastic. Med/.013 - .056 80/20 bronze, ultra thin nanoweb coated. Give them a try Steve, you won't regret it.

Put some on back in Febuary I think? Sound great so far! Feel good as well when you get used to them!

I hate Elixir strings. If you leave them on too long (which they encourage because of the coating), they get sticky.

For electric I use GHS tens. For acoustic I use D'Addario Bronze Elevens.

Can't honestly say I've had the same problem Smueske, then again I clean my strings regularly.

Hate to be on the other side of the fence,BUT,ive had great luck with Ernie's.

Sound great and i never break them unless i just get totally stupid with the wammy bar goin backwards.

I use either 9's or 10's depending on the guitar.

Hi I use the nickel strings which is the most popular electric guitar strings and I also use stainless steel strings which provides a brighter tone and phosphor bronze for my acoustic string guitar.
