New Styles, Work Or Not?

I'm normally a very clean singer, but some songs require more aggression. I'm trying to combine some heavy bluesy vox along with a more traditional aggressive vocal, as well as some high 'strat' note harmonies.

Some of these styles are being used on some other songs, but I can't tell how 'successful' (convincing, appealing, etc...) they are?

No Auto-tune was used.... just a very simple chain: AT4033-Art tube (yes, I know lol)-delta 10/10... used blue plugins:reverb/delay/compression. DAW is Vegas 7.0.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. This is an early demo version. Working out sounds, and direction. It's far from finished... But I could use some feedback on the vocals.

Well, it definitely works for what it is, the vocals are strong and accomplish the retro sound you guys are obviously going for. It could use a little cleaning up, but you are well on your way. It's been a long time since I heard anything along those lines.

Sounds very effective to me. The vibrato control is excellent, the overall effect very expressive. Go with it.
