I suppose the fact remains that this is theft! Whether we like it or not, the artist has a right to benifit from his work. I think the RIAA will continue to sue individuals because they are gaining some much needed cash for very little outlay here. I think they have been very clever in the way they have gone about this! Making the suit $3000 - $4000 is just about attainable by most middle class families I guess. They are probably quite happy to settle out of court for that amount! I still think that the wind of change is well and truly blowing up the RIAA's trouser leg, and they are getting what they can from this!

I agree - i think they are right. If they want people to stop this sends out a clear message.

It just goes to show that they should be listening to good, free music from independent artists (like me, plug, plug) which they can have for nothing!
