i know i'm anti war but big respect for all those who gave so much for freedom today

peace

AN EYE FOR AN EYE

an eye for an eye

why not let it pass by?

what’s next a limb for a limb?

a tooth for a tooth

what ever happened to the truth?

if justice was such an easy game

then half of the world is to blame

It’s just to easy, too lame

whatever happened to turning the other cheek

is it no longer fashionable to be meek

if It’s peace not war you seek

then you are labelled as some kind of freak

an eye for an eye

did no one question why

the bible told us so

so on to war we go

death and destruction, and mans huge ego

an eye for an eye, it may sound mean

but war is just a money making machine

but history tells no lies

one day nobody will have eyes.

A good poem again, Nigel!

A tooth for a tooth... I'm perplex about the origin of WW2. I've read that wealthy american businessmen fianced the Nazi regime and Hitler. It's not unheard of, like you say Nigel, there's money to be made with war. Think of the Rothchild family. World war 2 lead to the creation of Israel, and the third world war is starting from there...
