New Road

Bridges left burning bright lights lay ahead

Days no longer filled with dread

It's a new road instead

Everything sparkles like brand new

But if it was up to me not you

I'd show you there's nothing we can't do

Everyone thinks the grass is greener

But it just keeps getting meaner

The gypsy lady I went to see her

She said it's been that way forever

Nothing left to do

Walk away on a road that's new

Don't get left behind don't stew

Can't wait for the new order

Where peace lives

I've seen her daughter

Till then it's a new road

On the way to slaughter
