If I was anywhere near as competent with social networking, promoting, and things along those lines as I was with playing drums and writing music with my band I would probably have already created a decent buzz about my band. So tell me, what do you do to help promote your band via social networking, creating a buzz/hype and catching people's attention that doesn't include gigging. Yes, it's very well understood by myself that gigging is integral to creating hype, but I just wanna hear what other people do with other forms of media!
