as a rapper, it's hard to rap while your howling. The first element in rap is clearness of words. In case of heavy metal, it's will definitely create some conflict. NU Metal like Linkin Park and Limp Biskit - Raps, but, they don't howl their words. But if you want it, then you can make it possible. GO for it.. dude

How do you know your range technically? because i have problems with my range too. I pretty sound like ne-yo cause i do sound like a lady. I'm into RNB composition and hip hop, Am i on the right track?
