  1. Yeah the promo manager is rushed off his feet at the mo, (poor geezer.. )hehe. Its all going ok now, were gearing up for our first official retail release in September now. Were gonna spend this time building more "hype". Would certainly be interested in an interview, PM or Email me with details whenever you want to go ahead. Cheers!
  2. Welcome to yah. I used to be a drummer too. Now i do keyboards + bass guitar and produce my own electronic stuff. I do miss the drums though.
  3. Cheers Didier and John, Most of which you guys have mentioned we have already put into place, i guess its a matter of time. As we have just passed the first quarter hopefully things will start to pick up. We already had a feature in local press as did some of our artists, but i think we will appraoch again with some fresh material. Our promo manager is working flat out, so much so i havent seen im for over a week-ill ask him to send a press release to you guys. Nice article by the way, will heed this advice. Cheers again all, anything else you can suggest will be a great help!
  4. Ahh! CHILTERN??? hehe, i tried them, they dont support indepedants.. i wonder why something to do with BMG methinks.. Will check outt hat link though, cheers for that. Cheers for the advice hari.. were lauching your single tommorrow so all of this will be tried.. hehe.
  5. A slightly different question.. How about if you are working for an independent label and your looking for an effective marketing strategy on a very tight budget. Can anyone reccommend anything? Have tried: Google adwords, Search engine submissions, countless free listings, Spamming (me, never! ), word-of-mouth, banner campaigns on music sites, promotional plays on internet radio, HUNDREDS of promotional CD's to loads of DJ's... phew.. The music industry is such a bitch to break!
  6. Its the best news I have heard in a long time considering my business depends on it!
  7. Thats a good idea actually.. i never thought of that considering i have about 6 or 7 PCs all hanging about doing nothing... I have experienced severe latency problems mind especially in the past running win98 with an SBlive. Mind you, a good boost of RAM does go a long way. Let me know how this goes.
  8. Welcome mate! an interesting story you have. Lots of musical history.. unfortunatly my musical history is not as interesting.. Ill have a listen to your stuff for sure.
  9. welcome! Looking forward to hearing your stuff.
  10. hello all! I have been a member of this board for ages but have hardly posted (except for when we have a new release.. I know I know its not really good Messageboard Manners.. Apologies...) so i thought i would let myself known, My name is Si, i used to run petrolmusic.net, I now work for the record company Artificial Bliss (for which some of you may know as Hari is one of our extreemly talented musicians) and i am one half of the Duo Chokai. I have been making music for Donkeys years, and i must say its great to be on a board where people dont spell is like "iz" and your as "ur" and no section that says "MC Battle". God i hate those boards.. Just a little gripe.. Anyways, Hello, Again and congrats to John for putting togther a top website!
  11. Its finally happened, the sad demise of my beloved Novation nova.. Im sure its the PSU but im too skint to buy a new one (and at £50 its a rip-off!), so anyways, im looking for some kind of replacement in the form of some kind of VST, now i have the v-station which is supposed to be exactly the same but it lacks "meat". Can anyone reccommend a good old-school synth plug-in other than JunoX2 or the brilliant SIDstation? many thanks!
  12. Just get a m-audio radium 49. Only cost me £100 and although a little plasticy the controllerrs are excellent if your working with cubase. m-audio website + specs
