1. Do you sing, play an instrument or instruments? What instruments?guitar When did you start playing?about 40 years ago, 42 for sure…I am 52 now Did you teach yourself? Yes and no. started teachingmyself but then got a musicteacher when I started being in public withit. As I said earlier, I was only going to be the driver. 2. Are you in a band or bands? No band now. What is the name of the band? What do you play? What other instruments are in the band? Do you have a band website? 3. Do you write withongs? Do you write lyrics, music or both? I write lyrics. I usually try it several different ways and find what sounds good and go with it. Do you have a writing partner? I do some but it is myboyfriend, and he will definitely say something if he doesn’t like it. 4. Do you record your music? Do you use a home studio? If so what gear do you use? no Do you use a recording studio? Do you have music available on the web? if so where? no 5. What other roles do you perform in the music business? Management? Label owner? Publishing? Promotion? Other? 6. Are you a tech head? 7. What country do you live in? United States 8. What are your ambitions? I would like to get my stuff heard with someone else doing it. Then it will benefit more than one and my share I want to find a way to help others with it. There is so many ways to make things better and I love writing. 9. Do you draw/paint/write stories/computer art/dance or other creative pursuit? I write some short stories or was until my computer stopped letting me type the way I like. Now I use the on screen keyboard. What are your pastimes? I do crafts. 10. What would you like to get out of Songstuff? Become a better writer and find someone to want to do my stuff and it would be fun and exciting. I think that covers the main musical things!

I play guitar, sing some, and write lyrics. I have been writing for years and was told I need to start getting them heard. I started playing when I was about ten by sneaking my cousin’s guitar and knew I was not supposed to take it. He was in a band and was always upset because he would have it tuned before he left and it was always out of tune. I finally told him. I do not wish to sing my stuff but want to find someone I can work with. I have not recorded nor have I been in anything other than singing in the choir at church years ago. I also sang, played guitar on stage at the Odd Fellows Hall years ago. The girls wanted a band and I volunteered to drive then they ask me to play and when the show came, I started to perform and they ran. No back up from them, not anything. It got to be thing every week for ages. I am hoping to become a better writer from this. I love to write short stories and all of that. I just like writing. I live in the United States, Maine. It is normally really cold here now but today, it was awesome. It felt like spring. It was good.
