1. Do you sing, play an instrument or instruments? - I don't play and instrument i would like to learn to play the accoustic guitar or even the piano, however i do sing as it's my passion. What instruments? -As stated in question one i don't play an instrument at this current time although i'd love to learn When did you start playing? - I started singing from around the age of 5 or 6 Did you teach yourself? - Yes, i haven't once had a vocal training course, yet performed in open mics, shows etc... 2. Are you in a band or bands? - i used to be in one but unfortunatly i moved country What is the name of the band? - it used to be called "Angels in disguise" Do you have a band website? - I do yes, https://soundcloud.com/melissajadee 3. Do you write songs? - yes, I try but some are better then others Do you write lyrics, music or both? - I write my own lyrics and currently learning to fit music to them Do you have a writing partner? - no 4. Do you record your music? - yes, in my home studio, more like a cold basement Do you use a home studio? If so what gear do you use? - yes, ProTools 10.3 with the Rack Eleven, love it for guitar & editing. The SW has quite a few bugs, but once you get past that its pretty cool. Been using ProTools for about 15 yrs. Do you use a recording studio? - no, I wish I did, having an engineer that you could work with would be awesome, no more production mistakes - I have plenty in my material but that cool recording music is not always a prefect things, & its free to record on your own so mistakes will happen. Promotion? Other? - Publishing & licensing 6. Are you a tech head? - Not exactly, although i have been exploring recording softwares, pro techs etc 7. What country do you live in? - Spain 8. What are your ambitions? - write & record music everyday. 9. What would you like to get out of Songstuff? - Record deals, someone to gain the same passion in music as i dont, and mainly to inspire people how artists and music has inspired me
