Ok....I'm still behind the time in the fact that I do not own a sequencer....(hardware or software)....do everythinhg in real time Recording gear: Mackie 1642vlz 16 channel analog mixer...(use it for the mic pre's) Yamaha aw4416 16 track digital recorder Audio Technica at3035 mic... used mainly for vocals Keyboards: Roland Rs-9 used mainly as a midi controller...sometimes use the drum sounds tho Yamaha motif es rack my first choice when looking for sounds Kurzweil pc2r rack good for orch and brass and B-3 sounds E-mu virtuoso 2000 rack hardly ever use it Kurzweil sp88 keyboard usually only use it to play live Misc stuff: Lexicon mpx 100 effects processer Alesis SR 16 drum machine Pevey graphic eq Don't really use any of this misc stuff anymore Well, thats about it.....been thinking about investing in a software sequencer but don't know much about them.....downloaded some demo's but I just get more confused.....Hard to teach an old dog new tricks!!!!!!!!   4. Hello everyone....thanks for the warm welcome! Yes, I'm a keyboard player...started playin piano when i was 7....I'm 52 now...I know iknow...i'm old ..I dont play live much anymore but did for 25 years or so...just on the local and regional circuit...been a session player in some local studios around here...have a little home studio in a spare bedroom here at home where i hang out most of the time now..btw I'm in the states...midwest...state of Indiana I come from a gospel background mostly...performance wise but have influences in early rock and roll as well as blues and pop (as far as style is concerned) I've written some stuff ( some with lyrics some with out) but not much...would like to start writing again which is one of the reasons i joined the forum...thought i could pick up some tips and get the blood flowin from you all around here since i consider myself a rookie in that department Well, thats about it....lookin foward to bein around and hangin out here peace Roger
