I used to always scribble barely legible lyrics in a ratty little green spiral that I somehow ended up with but now I use my phone. But when I print them out I always keep them in my High School graduation binder. I have no idea why but they have stayed there and never been lost through "many, many" years of moves and life changes. I guess it's my lucky notebook!!!

Do you ever catch yourself wondering if your melody is yours or you have heard it somewhere before? Sometimes when I get so comfortable with a melody I panic that, is it because it came out of my imagination or deep down in my memory?!?

No Justsoulin they just think you are having deep repetitive onesided conversations.😉 Hobo, does that mean all of your lyrics have been very calculated and planned and intentional? There are no "Hobo Lyrics" in existence on a restaurant napkin or the back of a receipt or maybe even your hand; and washed away only to be reabsorbed into the Earth and be someone else's inspiration? Tee hee hee😜

Name's Cassie, Been writing since HS. Been super-busy working mom since after college, so developing my songs hasn't been a priority, But Baby I'm Here now! I'm interested in collaborating. I'm happy to give supportive critiques. Sorry I can only get anyone connections if they're interested in writing songs for a polka band. Cause that's my family. My dream is to write that song that makes someone say, "I wanna write a song like that"!
