So a few years back my buddy opened for Bubba Sparx and Nappy Roots, if anyone knows who they are. Well he had one open spot on his routine and asked me to do a cover of Airplanes by B. O. B with him live. Well I personally thought it turned out good so was going to ask if I should keep writing. The basis of this is true about my life and family and real events so I'm trying to tell a story.
OK, let's pretend that my mother never threw me,
Who ever would have thought that I would ever grow up to be,
like my father, hell no,
where was you when I was two or three, minutes out the womb and you were f*ckin history,
In this world that I'm spinnin round I'm twenty-four now, and we ain't never really talked and I've never wondered how,
but you can't hold me back and you will never keep me down cause I will always be the greatest thing in this town, once I leave the ground homie there really ain't no stoppin me,
I will never simmer down I'm boiling out the pottery, lighting every studio my name on every marquee, no more broken down cause I'm the Pride and Glory,
Dreams I had a plan i had it all figured out, Just had to raise my head up and get up over the clouds, and I did,
so when you make a wish in the night sky, just know I'm on that plane and I'm just flying by.
I have it recorded from a studio but not sure where I can upload it to, if anyone knows please tell me and you can hear it.
