  1. I dont use an audio interface, just an internal soundcard. its pretty decent. i purchased a audio technica mic today. on my daw it has a driver called asio4all built in it allows me to adjust the buffersize or amount of samples not sure how to word it. lowering the samples puts my vocals on beat yet when i record it goes of beat and i hear my vooice echoing in my headphones. the only way to get a recording on beat is to use no monitors instead of headphones.
  2. what is the best softwares for recording vocals? my daw for production is fl studio, iv been using this also for recording. im having latency issues, and would rather a more professional recording tool
  3. is this offer still availble? i have tons of unmixed tracks. i am going to mix them in the future as i learn more about how too.d appreciree mixes tho alo
  4. mixing using reference headphones and monitors will give me two different sounding mixes. i prefer monitors, altho i am very noobish when it comes to mixing. the majority of my songs are unmixed (properly) Best advice iv been given about this question, is to use headphones for productions, and monitors for mixing. iv also been warned not to mix with headphones for long periods of time, because you can damage your hearing alo
  5. what is trapcode? a genre you invented? if so its not a good mix of genres. reminds me of a crazy scientist in a laboratory like dexters lab lol.maybe look more into the culture of trapping. try codestep or something . a genre i think needs reinventing is grime. a uk sub genre, its so similar to dubstep that i think it would broaden the uk rap scene. if it was adjusted to a mainstream audience
  6. This is the first iv heard of this instrument not quite sure what it is? looks like it can be multipurposed as different instruments?
  7. Thank you so much for your awesome reply! Hitman I really do appreciate it. When you asked if my songs are sample based I have a question.. I don't use sample to create the song like taking a 80s song and chopping it up and adding a drum pattern(I despise that there's no creativity going into the music) however my drum patterns are from sample packs ie the separate instrument that I can play my own drum pattern with, would these drums need mixing or are they mixed what you told me about making claps 3dimentional makes sense when you mention it as direction of sound, its similar to what iv been experimenting moving the positions of the sound with a stereo shaper iv been changing the position of each sound so some are higher up on headphones some lower some in the middle it spaces things out and creates an interesting new sound if I where to give you a track like this https://soundcloud.com/aloproductionz/i-remember what would you advice be for this style
  8. Iv recently upgraded my music computer and now I have enough processing capabilities to mix. I have a whole lot of tracks that iv put a side for mixing maybe 30 or 40. some advice on a more professional mix would be appreciated I think iv got kicks and bass down with compression, filter and eq but when it comes to instruments like hats im not so sure what else too apply I like to give snares a slight reverb and raise up the low/mid frequencies a tad any advice would be very much appreciated thanks ALO
  9. fruity loops 11 has a vst called harmor this allows you to water mark tracks in a high frequency that's un audible
  10. nice a multi-band eq is good for adjusting the different ranges of frequency you can slightly boost or lower them. have you also tryed using a filter or compression?
