  1. Great news! I've never used ADT! I use to work with Kramer Tape emulator in mastering process. I will try also ADT then. Thanks!
  2. Ahahah Funny! But I don't have a mouse... it's pretty hard using a touch pad! I retry now!
  3. Hi all! My name is Roberto, I'm Italian. Mike, I perfectly understand. It's happened to me too when I decided to change direction to my music career. I worked for an important Japanese Music Company (Avex Trax) together with 2 of my friends... we made eurobeat and dance music... but after 30 years performing and producing the same genre I really needed to deal with other styles... style that I like and I feel. Ok! I started my solo career sure that the little fame I obtained during all those years could help me. I was totally wrong! My old fans have not appreciated so much this change and most of them didn't support me... I should conquer the heart of new fans with new genres I had never made in my career. So I fell into depression and I stopped to make music for more than 1 year. Then I thought "music is my life. I can't give up at all!". So I started to write new songs... 6 songs - 6 different genres... and this July I published my first EP as an indie artist... More or less I learnt how moving in this new world for me. But now I work with enthusiasm! It doesn't matter if the sales are not good like in my former music life, but the pleasure to be heard and appreciated pays all my efforts!
  4. Hi! I have a Focusrite 2i4 in my home studio and I use a SHURE SM58 in a CLEARSONIC vocal box for the vocals.
  5. Hi guys! I'm really new on these forums. Wow! Good Topic! Mixing with headphones is not good, but they can come to help you during the mix down or better when it's almost at the end. I have a home/project studio with 3 couple of monitors for references: old Yamaha NS10 Studio and a couple of Avantone with DIRAC correction software. For the mixes down I use 2 Genelec 8020B nearfield monitors. At the end or the work i compare the sound with monitors and headphones... I have Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO that I use also for mastering session. Think they are one of the best headphones solution for their frequency response. Said that, I couldn't mix down only with headphones!
  6. Hi guys! I'm new on these forums. I don't want to bother you, but please, allow me to say that before to buy a Mic you should consider the room dimensions and the reverberation points. Often, a more expensive mic is a real disaster in a wrong room! Before purchasing, you should try some microphones in order to take the right decision.
