Hey there, everyone! I'm Emma Hearne, an independent artist from South Africa. My music hopes to take you on a journey through dreamy and intimate dream pop tunes, influenced by jazz, rock, shoegaze, and soul.
When I pick up my guitar, it's like I pour my whole being into those strings. I write songs about love, loss, and finding myself, trying to capture all those emotions and experiences in my lyrics.
As an independent artist, I do it all. I produce, record, and mix my music. I'm the one up there on stage performing, writing the lyrics, and not to forget also the vocalist. It's a lot of work, but it's rewarding.
In 2023, I released my very first single called Ceremony It's a true representation of my sound and style, and I couldn't be prouder of it. Recently, I also put out my second single, All to Escape which serves as a instrumental prelude for the album I've been working on. It's been such an exciting journey so far.
What I hope to get out of being here is some networking, feedback and input, to get my music to more people. Basically building relations with like minded people.
