If you write songs, you're a lyricist. Tell us more about the kind of help do you want. Someone to write them for you? To fill in the blanks? To jump-start you? Pop is music's van/straw/choc. It comes in three flavors: I love you, I miss you, and I'm done with you.

It's up to you. Some people buy lots of guitars as a form of interior decorating. I keep my rig simple. A good Tele covers a big waterfront, and so do a lot of amps. What to buy? Whether to buy? Cheap is good, crap isn't. Go for good deals, but don't compromise sound quality. By the way, since you're a Tele guy, or at least a Tele clone guy, you should know about www.tdpri.com.

Greetings, Songstuffers! Looking forward to seeing what goes on here. Been writing songs since the late sixties, never professionally. Play guitar, gig at local pubs, breweries, and whatnot here in Maine and have one CD of some of my tunes. Though I've played in a couple of African artists' bands, my music is mostly roots American styles — folk, blues, country, garage rock. Love jamming. Not here for career advancement, just enjoy gabbing about songwriting and giving advice when it's asked for. We'll talk! cb
