Thank you Peggy. I'm finding out that Songtrust is what i need.

I'm trying to understand the value of Songtrust. A few questions please. If I have an account with BMI and MLC- why would I need songtrust? If BMI and MLC are free services- why would I pay 15% admin fee to songtrust- between BMI and MLC- am I not covered? Since spotify and other stream avenues pay me directly- is songtrust going to try and take 15% of that money as well when I do not need them to and I do not want them to? Thank you Shannon

HI folks, I have a couple of songs ready to upload to spotify, etc. Eventually they will go on an album but the album title, other songs, etc., have not yet been determined. I have an account with BMI. Question please: Can I register a couple of songs alone on BMI as single songs. Get them uploaded and released on the platforms. then add songs as I work on them - registering to BMI and releasing as I go. and then - Later - can I somehow arrange them in BMI as part of an album?
