  1. Truth be told you should have already started on it, never mind waiting until your music is done. There is a ton of work to be done to prepare for a release unless you want to release your album only to sell, or even give away, only 100 or so copies. Believe me it is a well trodden path. I need to sleep but I will try and remember to come back and give you some pointers tomorrow. Symph will no doubt remind me! Other than that, I wrote an editorial for our community newsletter that I would consider as the first thing to do. If you missed it I will be posting a copy of the newsletter to the forums tomorrow.

  11. It may well just show up as a menu option somewhere.. Sorry I am not familiar with Studio 1 so it is hard to advise, I left comments in your spectrum analyser thread For what it is worth, most of these things are VST Ireland VSTi, ie they use a common interface, so if it doesn't work with Studio 1 it won't work on any OR you are looking for the wrong thing in the wrong area
  12. It is probably in a hidden folder for VSTs. You may then have to run a VST load tool. Sorry I am not familiar with studio 1. Or your operating system lol
  13. Thanks Amy The gun's a hungry eagle, tap dancing on a hot metal roof Screaming as it spat a furious rat-tat-tat Hunting flesh telescopic, precise, and myopic The bullets flew the nest, swooping down upon their prey Stallion liberate scattered
  14. Hey It sounds like a classic frequency clash. Here is one solution. Use notch filters (EQ) to cut holes in your keys (a pad maybe?) Try using a notch filter to cut the holes, and a spectrum analyser to identify the hole you need to cut. Keep it to a minimum width and depth... Ie just enough to allow the guitar to poke through. I hope this helps

  16. my heart is a rollercoaster crashing through the tumbling valleys and climbing over the soaring peaks, as I hiked through the rolling purple mountains The metaphor being the linkage between "my heart" and "rollercoaster" using the key "is a". For those in doubt of what a metaphor is, what the difference is between a metaphor, a similie and an allegory, I describe them here: http://forums.songstuff.com/blog/1/entry-171-similes-metaphors-and-allegories/ Adjective - black Noun - cloud Verb - crying
