  20. In case you weren't aware, when IK Multimedia launched it's Custom Pro shop version of Amplitube free it provided 3 of the previos Amplitube model versions for free. That's some cracking gear right there In case you haven't grabbed your free version yet, you can get it here: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/amplitubecs/
  21. Hey Gang I'm always interested in the weird and wonderful guitars that luthiers dream up. Here's a couple to get things kicked off from Manzer guitars: The Pikasso Sitar Guitar
  22. Check your sound chain to see if at any point a compressor is inserted. It is not uncommon for PC sound cards to have compression enabled for the inputs by default. In this scenario at some point the input volume would be too high, triggering the compressor to reduce the aamplitude of the input signal to avoid distortion. After triggering this would then take some time to fade back to the uncompressed volume, where in all likelihood it would be retriggered. This would most likely be characterised by a sudden drop in volume and a slow return to original volume. Solution, disable the compression, or adjust the threshold and type of compression or turn down the input signal so that it isn't triggering the compressor/limiter
  23. Now that I can agree with. Do music for personal benefits, not monetary. Monetary benefits may happen but they most definitely cannot be depended upon. If anything I would say get a job doing something else while you learn music so that one day, at some point, music may be a viable option as an income stream. Just now it is just a pipe dream of what you would like to happen. Typically it takes years of hard work and a degree of good luck to turn what we want into it's solid equivalent in reality.
