Hi everyone, I'm new here but not new to music. I've been writing songs seriously for about 8 years and I'm looking to help others as well as get help. Additionally, I am a musician and record my songs as if a band were playing them. Since I do this all the arranging myself, this sometimes leads to more predictive arrangements. My goal for the year is to release one new song per month.but I want them to be great songs, not just any song. I've got tons of songs I've written that will never see the light of day but I'm working to be more purposeful with each new song. Hi everyone, cheers from the US, this forum looks like it has members from across the globe which is fantastic. I'm a songwriter, musician, some may say singer, and also record my music in my studio. My music tends to be influenced by the music from the 60's and 70's classic rock and roll, folk rock, and blues. You will pick up pieces of all of that in many of the arrangements. I probably spend as much time (if not more) mixing the tracks on my songs. This is an art in itself, one that I have yet to come close to mastering. At any rate, I appreciate the feedback anyone provides as my goal is not to become the next American Idol or some such thing, but rather to share my music with anyone interested, while learning new things along the way.
