What way do you find most productive to start writing a song? Do you start with a song concept? Do you start with lyrics? Melody? Rhythm? I always start building on the lyrics...since most people memorize that (next to the guitar , at least i do ) Do you have a common way of developing your original idea? Nope... Usual the idea developes itself over time... Patience is the keyword At what point do you start recording? When Ive got EVERYTHING in my mind... I dont start at something i know is never gonna work

i dont look at it as a competition... (A) it s more a way of showing appreciation to another ones work i dont even think id make it throug nominations im not that good

talking about contests... how does this work here...i noticed a topic in the lyric section called "best lyric of february... Do I understand correctly that a contest is held each month and starts the month after? (For Example : Contest of March starts on 1st of April?)

My favourite songwriter would be Kurt Cobain ... I like the fact that after listening to a song ONCE, makes u remember at least a Verse... I probably like it a lot due to the fact that its all so recognisable...
