I joined SongStuff less than a week ago and I'm already amazed with the people and the creative flow that happens here. As a budding musician and lyricist who's publishing his lyrics for review for the first time it means a lot to me that people can be so positive yet at the same time be so helpful to improving my writing. The huge amount of lyrical and musical ideas tossed around on here is inspiring and can often lead to some genius revelations of your own. I can imagine myself being a regular as SongStuff for a very long time.

Hey I've been playing guitar for around 3 months and I love doing it, but I am by no means very good. Is there any resources out there (books, websites, articles...) that any one would reccomend that worked well for them when they first started out? I'm hoping to find a teacher in the future, but for right now I'm doing the best I can on my own and YouTube can only teach you so much..... Any advice would be great!

Hey guys! My names Cole and I'm from Indianapolis. I'm an aspiring musician and lyricist, but the lyrics are a bit better than the music (by a bit I mean you won't try to gnaw your own ears off when you hear them unlike the music). So I'll probably be sharing some of my lyrical ideas on here and be looking for some feedback. I'm really pretty new at this so some critique would be much appreciated. My musical stylings usually leaan towards indie rock, alternative rock and folk with maybe a little bit of reggae or blues thrown in, so I like a little variety. Anyway, It's nice to meet everyone and I hope we can make some good tunes on here. Peace! ~Cole
