hi this is my 18th published poem this yr...any good???

Out of the darkness

Chains on cages and locks on doors

Seems like you been here before

Out of the darkness and into the light

God knows you got to fight

Open roads and narrow lanes

Everyday feels the same

Always looking for someone to blame

Life would be good but the guilt and shame

Out of the darkness and into the light

God knows you got to fight

Supermarkets selling at half price

But yesterday you paid for it twice

Third world working for rice

Somehow it doesn’t seem right

Out of the darkness and into the light

God knows you got to fight

Livin here can seem so unreal

Somehow got to make that deal

And start to make life more real

For when living no longer becomes a fight

Your out of the darkness and into the light

Fighting to get out of the trap that society has put us in, where 50+ hours is still not enough, where you have to protect what is yours so it does not get taken by someone lazier than you. Fighting to make sense of your time here.

Interesting that I could not get the hang of this. It must be because Its mostly outside my experience. Or percieved experience anyhow.
