It feels so much better than where I’ve been

Where mist rises off a mountain stream

Full of hope like a rainbows beam

Like a halo of light shining so bright

In full colour not black and white

Everything seems so right

Reemerging from a bad patch

Cannot help but feel there’s a catch

After everything I’ve seen and been

All that’s good feels like

Standing on the edge of a dream

How I long to enter that place

With it’s honeysuckle air and god’s grace

A chance to make a new tomorrow

And wipe away all sorrow

For time is ours to borrow

Some say dreams don’t come true

Standing at the edge of one I think they do

This does have beautiful imagery, but its dark despite of it. A hiding from reality sort of theme. The darkest part of it for me is that the narrator (you I s'pose) is quite happy about it. That is subtle!
