Ring Around The Rosy (my Own Version)

Well i'm not sure if you'd call this a poem but I can't see this as a song, but yeah this is about my opinion on nursery rhymes. Kind of strange, didn't put a ton of work into it but I didn't feel like I needed to say all that I needed to say

Ring around the rosy

Now don't get too nosy

This rhyme was made for the young

That's why it's sung in such a happy tone

Such dark thoughts who would of guessed

It was meant for the kids

Don't be shy

Sing it loud, sing it proud

The only thing that's at risk

Is your state of mind and self of steem

Don't you lie

You know these words are dark

Dark enough that you'd embed

It in your offspring and let it be

Ring around the rosy

Now don't get too cozy

Cheery beat but hear it again

You'll find it's not so easily believable

Such dark thoughts who would of guessed

It was meant for the kids

Just hear this song, nodd your head

And pretend it's not so disturbing

Razrocon, there are two things I noticed when I read this. One, it flowed well and two, it seems to be more of a song to me.

well I guess what I meant by not being like a song is that I can't picture it being a song cause this is more like a re-make of the nursery rhyme "ring around the rosy" which is already a song So idk I can't really imagine this being like a comercial song but yeah
