It looks super cool. You could make some great zone-out hypnotizing music using only that guitar. I could play that for hours and not get bored, just drowning in the sustain.

I do think it's really different from sustainiacs and ebows etc. This is just a start - once someone spends a few *months* with it, you'll begin to hear stuff on their new albums that *noone* else can copy easily without one of these. I hope they make a poor man's version, too - or better, a DIY kit. Would probably still set you back a thousand euros or so.

In a way I can see what you mean, but I think that this guitar is going to make some awesome new music possible, in the hands of skilled guitarists... Like I said, I would annoy everyo0ne if I had one, but then I'm justn ot very talented, so I wouldn't bother, I'll stick to learning how to control what sustain my guitars already do... Leave that beast til when I'm better or just the skilled people out there...

I would still love to play with one for an hour or so... Wouldn't you?

I think thats kinda cheap, its like a guitar for people who can't rip it sufficiently on normal guitars.

I think it will work out the same as with those e-bows. You hear them on quite a few songs, but listening to a solid hour *only* e-bow could get a little tedious. Lou might make one though, not looking forward really - but I might be wrong.

Think it will be used to create a certain atmosphere, and I think for some things they could be perfect. Wouldn't spend 6.5K on it though.
