Loneliness Is Pinging

Recommended Posts

Loneliness is pinging

To the same old address

The message keeps reappearing

Destination host unreachable

Heart keeps on beating

To the same old tune

Waiting for someone to reappear

From the darkness, it disappears

There is someone singing

Or is it just an illusion

Yet I can trust

As she sit besides me in my bed

I hold on to her arm

Before she disappears

I have fallen in love, yet again

Oh! As she lift up her heals

To wrap her arms around me

And she kisses upon my lips

Who is she? Where is she?

This woman of my dreams

I don’t even know her name

She appears at the stroke of dusk

She leaves again before dawn

How would I ever find her?

How could I ever forget her?

Ever beautiful face that I see

Resembles an angle of her face

Every breath that I take

I breathe her smell

I taste her kiss upon my lips

I’m scared breath sometimes

Afraid, her smell might disappear

I don’t eat for days, sometimes

Scared, her taste might disappear

Hey this is a nice one,

Once again I like the repetition of "reappearing, dissapearing".

"I’m scared breath sometimes

Afraid, her smell might disappear

I don’t eat for days, sometimes

Scared, her taste might disappear"

This is my favorite part, you have a typo though. Don't you mean "i'm scared to breathe sometimes"?.

"I breathe her smell"

That line seems akwardly placed. What about "I sniff her smell". Breathe her smells seems a bit weird for some reason.

I like the whole concept of trying to find out who she is, if she's real? How will I find her again? Is she all in my head? That kinda thing :)

Nice poem!
