Hi everyone....just registered....I've been playing guitar for awhile ...not very good but I enjoy playing....for last 20 years I've been composing, if that's the word, and writing lyrics for songs that my patner and I wrote...mainly just chords and words....but as simple as my songs are, there something there, at least we believe their special...just a feeling that our songs are good ...we tried sending our songs to publishers all over the counrty but that came to nothing...mostly recorded on TASCAM home studio cassette tapes...not a great qualitiy....we found we weren't producers...out mixes needed help...we haven't done anything in the last 5 years...with kids, work, and life...we have re-grouped lately and are starting to write again so I thought I get out there is see what happeneing....we are in the process of getting music software, leaning towards GarageBand so anyone has some insight on what is a good music software to buy, please let me know...also need some info on copyrighting our songs...geez in the old days I would send a cassette tape with lyric sheets using a PA form, I believe but that has changed...so any help/advise with submitting songs for copyright would be appreciated
